I've compiled a _completely static_ version of monotone-0.33:

    http://mudshark.org/~jack/mtn-0.33-linux-x86-static.bz2
    http://mudshark.org/~jack/mtn-0.33-linux-x86-static.bz2.sig

Notes:
    - this requires linux kernels with set_thread_area (2.6.x should be fine)[0]
    - this is compiled with static nss of files, dns[1]

[0] boost::regex uses pthreads for mutexing, IIRC. 
[1] See the glibc FAQ 2.22 for the hazards in doing this.
